Accessibility statement
Far Rainbow S.r.l. aims to make farrainbow.com usable by everyone, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier, or with animation and colour preferences set differently from the default.
Where we stand legally
We are telling you this because it matters for how you read the rest of the page. Italy’s Legge Stanca (L. 4/2004) applies to public bodies and to private companies above €500 million in turnover; the European Accessibility Act, as implemented by D.Lgs. 82/2022, covers consumer-facing services and exempts microenterprises. Neither obliges this company. We hold ourselves to the standard anyway, because a site that excludes people is a badly built site.
What we are aiming at
The target is WCAG 2.2 level AA. In practice that means:
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 against its background, and 3:1 for large text and interface components, in both the light and dark presentations.
- Every interactive element reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, with a focus outline that is visible rather than suppressed.
- Headings that describe the real structure of the page, so a screen reader can be used to navigate rather than only to read.
- Images carrying text alternatives that say what the image shows; images that are purely decorative marked so they are skipped.
- Form fields with real labels, and errors reported in words rather than by colour alone.
- Page text that reflows and stays readable at 200% zoom and at a 320-pixel viewport width, without a horizontal scrollbar.
- Motion that respects
prefers-reduced-motion.
How we checked
This is a self-assessment, not a third-party audit. We tested each template with keyboard-only navigation, with automated checks for contrast and markup, and by reading the pages at 200% zoom and at phone width. We have not commissioned an independent accessibility audit, and we will say so here if that changes.
What we know is not perfect
- Some screenshots on project pages carry a text alternative that describes what the screen does rather than reproducing every label inside it. A long description for the most complex of them is still to be written.
- Documents linked from the site in PDF form were produced by third parties and may not be tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will provide the content in another format.
- We have not tested with every assistive technology — notably not with voice control software or with braille displays.
Tell us when we get it wrong
If something on this site keeps you from doing what you came to do, write to contact [at] farrainbow.comor call +39 328 4533411. Tell us the page and what happened; we answer within five working days and will say what we intend to do and when. If you would rather have the content another way — a plain-text version, a document read out, an answer by phone — ask, and we will provide it.
